Morris Ready For Australian Championships
29 December 2015
The four round series to determine the overall champion starts on January 2nd at Kurri-Kurri before moving to Undera Speedway January 6th then to Gilman Speedway two days later. The fourth and final round will be on January 10th in Mildura and Morris is planning on being in contention come that last round.
He added: "It's a tough schedule for all of us with the travelling and the four meetings in such a short space of time but I'm ready and can't wait for the opening round.
"I want to win the title and add it to my CV as well as grab a spot for the SGP qualifying rounds but I know it won't be easy.
"The field really is wide open this year and you need to run as many 'A' finals as you can over the four rounds and see where you end up.
"I like the four tracks and my equipment is good so hopefully I have a bit of luck you need to win the series.
"I want to improve again next season and riding in the qualifying rounds for the Grand Prix is where I want to be. Riding in Poland in 2016 on a regular basis will also be tough but I have to step up if I want the next step in my career.
"Winning the Aussie title would be an awesome way to start the new year.”
